Like the sun, ceramic brooders emit infrared rays towards the floor which turn into heat when they encounter the birds or the litter. This offers many advantages in a poultry house : The chicks or poults are on the floor. The direct heat they receive gives them the best comfort for their optimum growth. The feed conversion of the entire flock is improved. The litter remains comfortably cushioned and at the right temperature for the resting bird. The moisture from the birds excrements and around the drinkers is permanently evaporated. The hygiene conditions are improved. The litter can be used longer and its maintenance cost is minimized.
